Re:

Dishes have a direct impact on cable. These are two separate businesses competing for subscribers. Potentially every dish out there could eliminate a cable subscriber. I understand you're just trying to make a living. I think dish needs it's own venue.

>I for one have been glad to see the dish ads here. It has helped carry me along in these lean times. Think about it...it's all bringing RF to a television. I'm just trying to make a living here.

>>I hope that when you refer to "design idiots" you are not refering to me or anyone employed by me. I happen to be very good at my job, and will continue doing so as long as I can find design work to be done.

>>>thats right this is a place for real cable construction people, and after we get rid of those worthless dish install people lets get id of the wanna be construction people like those assholes that never leave their office. you know them design idiots that make our life so miserable.

As many of you know, the cable roller coaster has hit the bottom for many design firms, walkout firms, and even some construction firms. There are several design houses that I've had the pleasure of doing business with in the past, that have simply had to close the doors and find work in other "fields". I think action should be taken to ban the dish guys from the cable bar. I don't think it's appropriate to have cable business people, who have fallen on hard times,
>>>>have to wade through all the dish work to see if they can pull in some small project to save their company's butt. I know some of you dish folks out there are good people, but it's starting to get old, seeing all the cable markets getting flooded with dishes. It's time to get your own page and do your recruiting from other sources.
