Might be cheap, but illegal in most states. I'd check with the DOT or highway administration to find out exactly what signs you need. In my experience your better off following their rules and regulation than trying to cut corners, because they can be a pain in your rear if they want to be. All it takes is one person without proper traffic control or permits to be on the road to get the job shut down and have the state and county officials hounding you every day.
