Yep...a VOM or iffn you are lazy (such as myself) pop a TDR on there. It will tell you where, how far down the line to the foot. Anymore, you can pick them up for about 1200.00. That will get your foot in the door to do R&M work as well. Charge by the foot for the span repaired and piece work for the pothole and the straight splice. Then get .03 per foot for pickin up the temp. It will also tell you if there are more straights in the span.
