Re:Just some insight, for the "U" by-standers

Unions are for the following, there are no exceptions: To get more when asking to do less.

A Union is automatic inflation, and can never be anything BUT counter productive. This industry is already filled to the gills with incompetents, the LAST thing we need is a Union.

Unions only protect those that can't or won't. Producers have no need nor should they have any desire to be ham strung by a Union. Unions merely want to transfer the force of the capable to the force of collective incapables.

Now if you want to can call it Protecting the "worker", suit yourself, but it is a screwin' from the bottom up.

"Workers",commrades and such, that do less will make the same as those that do more. And really, that's what the Union and the Union supporters are after now isn't it?

It is that premise of internal democracy, which makes the union stronger and better able to fight for the rights and interests of the working people. For the protection of all union members today, there is always help that will provide organizing, educational, and legal assistance to those fighting for greater membership control of their unions.

Rather, support actions which strengthen the democratic process, promoting membership participation, free speech and fair elections, so that union members can shape the direction and actions of their union. There are also attorneys with union democracy expertise, when necessary.
