Chad, I was IBEW for a few years with Colorado Springs CableVision. Then I was IBEW working in a system for TCI.
I have business associates that are with CWA and they always speak highly of the "Union" management VS SouthWestern Bell management.
I found that IBEW did not really benifit me greatly in the Cable industry. But it did during my 2 year apprentice working for my Journeymans Electricians.
I know from my short experience working with AT&T in MO. that I would have to vote CWA in due to the fact that the upper management "Do not care about the tech's in the field"! They are out for themselves! The orginization of AT&T field tech.'s is from upper management is by far fair!
Sorry, that sound like "muddslinging" but my experience with them was not a good one!
Everyone says AT&T is the same as TCI. Well, maybe on paper but, when I worked for TCI it was great!
So, there you have my 2 cents worth!
