Project (Design) Engineer

FAST GROWING CABLE SERVICE PROVIDER SEEKS a self-starter who identifies areas for improvement without prompting from above and is capable of working independently. A person who is willing to roll up sleeves and help wherever needed. Must be flexible and down to earth and have a sense of humor. This professional must also bring to our client:
1. 2+ years of direct project management and design experience
2. Currently employed as a Design Engineer/Technician or Project Manager
3. Four year engineering degree or equivalent
4. 2+ years experience with Lode Data
5. Knowledge of Broadband Theory (Certification as a Broadband Communication Engineer through SCTE a huge plus).
6. Knowledge of and exposure to:
 Basic Electronics
 Fiber Optics
 Distribution Systems
 Upgrades/Rebuilds
 Autocad
 Operation Systems
 Fiber Optic Design
 Head-End and Hubs
 CATV architectures
