Prime Contractors? Here We Go Again

My concern is that Crown will be chopping line item pricing to get into the door, which means less monies to the installer. I don't expect the gravy train to last forever, but quit killing the wallets of the guys who do quality work. AT&T has started a price war to the contractors, expecting the same work for less. Politics and prices are going to force the independents into a different career field and possibly make installations into a $12.00 an hour installer position. "...tools and trainig provided, you must use your own vehicle..." Before long, the turnover rate will equal that of Virtek's. Sorry guys, nothing personal. Looks like it's time to hit the road, start going where the money is.
