The first thing I can tell you is to remove your sweep generator from the affected bandwidth. I don't know if you are adding cable modem service or Digital channels but the sweep will kill your QAM signal. Then after you have added your signal check your constellation with a digital analyzer to ensure that you have a good Error vector magnitude, bit error rate (before and after reed and soloman correction) then take your digital analyzer and spot check terminations in your plant. I learned this the hard way!!!!!!
