Reading this article reminds me of what I wrote several months ago when the big boys hit us in the pocket. I had one company that keep 2000.00 of our retainage and sent me the gigs sheets and what it cost them to fix things wrong with the work that our crews did after everyone had left location.
Your right the big boys come up with all things wrong and they live off of our money that is paying them interest each day it's in the bank, and I agree were the ones going hungry and trying to explain to our finance companies how the big boys owe us $$$$$$$$$$$$ and won't pay. It's hard for those that work a 9-5 job and get a pay check each Friday to understand our sitution all they care about it that they get the commission from there collection call and make our life worse that it already is.
So where there is a pay day and all of the big boys will get theres.
Work is slow this year its the worse I have sean in 12 yrs.
