The cableco that I was designing for has been sold to another, and subsequently I find myself happily unemployed with a nice severance package. Now that I have the opportunity and the cash I am looking at purchasing the Lode Data software.
My questions are: Is it worth it? Is anybody out there making a buck doing contract design with this software? Has the economic slowdown hit this sector as well?
Are most of you charging on a per mile basis or does anyone charge hourly for smaller jobs?
