Looking at your problem from a supervisors position of a
prime contractor. You are 97% right, anytime a sub came into
work for me-if I could not see in a week what kind of work
he or she was performing I should have been fired. You just
dont allow someone to run amuck in your system. When a invoice
was submitted for payment, you had 48 hr's to Q.C. that work.
You either signed it off or wrote up a gig sheet for the
infractions the sub had. What I am trying to say is if that
invoice was signed by a representitive of that prime. The
blame should fall on the person doing the Q.C. work. I dont
know about other companys, but our Q.C. personel were paid
very good not to make mistakes. If that person signed an
invoice off-he would be the one answering the questions. Just
to let you know all supervisors are not ass holes. Because I
hear you brother. Good luck on collecting your money!!!!
