Yes there is good money in it for those who can do the job correctly.All these companys giving a low hourly rate will come to realize this as their companys production lags and gigs go through the roof. Case in point I worked a job last year, we worked as contractors by footage,and a 2nd contractor worked with hourlys, we had 6 techs, they had 15. We did more production and a better job than the hourly guys by far. All in all- you get what you pay for. A good days work deserves a good days pay!
