You say that you "can not afford to go somewhere else". The real question you should ask yourself is, "Can I afford to work under those conditions?" Besides the financial issues, which is enough in it self, you are experiencing emotional issues as well. You may not know it but the stress of dealing with counterproductive management puts more stress on you than you may think. That is part of the reason you are here, to vent some of that stress.
I was told by a wise man that, "If you don't like your job, find another one, then quit the bad job". He also said, "If you don't like your pay, find a better paying job, then quit your low paying job". That advice has served me well for over 45 years.
BTW the working conditions will not get better with the current management simply by posting on here.
