Just a heads-up to all the good guys out there about my issue with an employer, Smart Cable Tech LLC, and its CEO, Kikalov Ivan.
I worked with him on a project in the CT area, and he promised a per diem of $100 per day. However, when it was time to start receiving it, he began saying, “The main company isn’t paying me, so I have no way to pay you the per diem.”
I worked with him for three months, waiting for the per diem to be paid. But today, when I told him I was leaving, he laughed in my face and said I would receive nothing.
When I contacted the main company to ask if they had extended the per diem, they told me the last per diem payment was on February 2. I had asked Kikalov multiple times before, and he lied, claiming the company had extended the per diem for two more months.
Colleagues, if you don’t want to end up in the same situation, never work with him. You’ll waste your time, money, and nerves.
We all work hard, and no one deserves to be treated like this.
