Even if there was a personal god that watched over you and took care of you why would he throw you in hell for doubting him? If your claims are true then he created us with a brain that reasons and uses logic. To forgo these faculties and have faith in an unproven claim is actually insanity. Our brain is supposed to support reality and if it doesn't then we have places for those that exist in unreality
