I was told once those names being on a list could hurt someone going on another job for the same mso.
IDK, probably bs. I wouldn't think they could keep up with it that well, or that anyone needing would really care , if someone's name was on a list.
That $60 a hr for a seasoned coax splicer is bull shit though. 20 years ago it was fine. But now that's bullshit.
People working these storms need to make sure they work for a sub of a sub of a sub of a sub of a sub, as many times as they can to make sure there's no money left by the time it gets to them. As well as no one that can be held accountable when it if they don't get paid.
Btw I've been third maybe fourth tier down, ( as far a could tell) and only once was my price lower than $60 a hr. But it was on the very end and was short term. That was 20 years ago.
I always tried to work for people with more equipment, and money that I had/have.
