It doesn't matter what you gross, it matters what  you net.  If you gross $2K to $3k per week as you suggest and all your expenses are $3k to $4k per week, you lost money.  But if all your expenses are as low as $1000 per week.  You did OK but not great.  Might as well work for someone rather than self employed.  Remember to count depreciation of equipment.  Especially your truck.  I expect it may be your single most expensive item.  (Purchase price, gas, oil, repairs, depreciation, Insurance, repairs, etc.)
