And that my friend is why prices are so low. Because you do not take into account the real cost of doing business. Assuming it is aerial, you actually think you can make money at $2.35/ft if you strand, lash, splice, tree trim, place anchors, re-sag, bond, pay for insurance & workers compensation, fuel & oil, truck rental, lasher, rollers, trailers, other tools, at least 2 more crew members pay, payroll taxes, lodging, interest, legal fees, traffic control, repairs, door tagging, damaged property, rain delays, material delays, map error delays, and the expenses go on!
