It's all about obeying Him. He gives us free will, and also knows who will and who will not believe.
My morning reading was in Deuteronomy when Moses was charging the Israelites before his decease. God told him to say thus and thus to the children of Israel, then told Moses that He knew they were going to turn away from Him and go after other gods after Moses's death. He is all knowing, but we still have free will. Is he going to change our minds for us? Not sure about that (He is God, not me), but He CAN change our hearts...
