drob bury sub of a sub he has the contract but i do the contract 100 percent .from my understandind retainage was a specific amount that you had to pay each year and theyb returned it in january minus any damage or not.i have just now after 10 years heard it is money i worked for takin out in inquirements this one being 4000.even thoe my liability investorgator concluded that they will not pay this claim because i was not at fault that the gas company falsified a locate ticket.2 years later the main contractor hold 2 years of retainage.my question is this why did my contractor then take my restitution held other monies and out of my check and ifim the one that worked for that restitution why am i having to pay my contractor back that money because he claims they took his restitution ?he never has worked for this contractor how is he claiming they took his money and why do i have to pay him back money of mine they held or the bill at all if the ticket was fraud?
