I used to do drop buries in the Chicago area many years ago, and I'm thinking about getting back into it. I have a truck already and thinking about buying a combination plow/boring machine like a Ditch Witch 255SX, VP30 or Vermeer SPX25, but before buying a machine and trailer, I wanted to ask you all what the present rates are for drop buries, sidewalk bores, and driveway bores, so I can do the math and decide if it's a good idea. I'm still in the Chicago area and I would really appreciate any info on present rates.
