First off, if you want to operate a successful business then you should know there is no such thing as a "going rate". Every job is different. Therefore, YOU have to do YOUR own homework. We do not know what is involved with your "Ped Prep" task.
At the very minimum, what we don't know is:
Are they all the same size peds?
Do that all get exactly the same prep?
Or is each one uniquely different?
Where is the job located?
What permits and/or licenses are needed?
How much man power is needed?
What is the start date and deadline?
Is the job bonded?
What are the insurance requirements?
What are the payment terms?
What is your employee hourly rate?
How many man hours will it take to complete the job?
What is YOUR profit margin?
I couldn't even begin to give you an answer without at least the above question answered.
The bottom line:
If you want to operate a successful business then YOU have to do YOUR own homework!
