I’ve built several towns for Metronet over the last 12ish years. There’s some issues. Like jobs shutting down completely with no notice for months. Yeah that hurt. And the prices are definitely lower, which would be appropriate for a high volume new build job, but with material shortages, redesigns, and all the other little hang ups that are just part of the cable world, you can expect some lean times. Also, there were issues with the way they let so many small time contractors come into a town and hit gas and be found negligent. I’m sure they are working on improving all of that. I’ve heard as much first hand. I do aerial and pull fiber. We really lost a lot of money setting up on runs where the pipe was literally not usable. The drill crews couldn’t read a map if there’s more than one pipe and they come up in different holes. What a shit show
