I got into this biz kinda by accident as my Dad who was a OSP Engineer for Illinois Bell, used to have me run Blue lines on the ammonia machine on Saturdays, due to prevent the smell during normal work hours.
The thing that got me into this Biz was he drew a line with a mylar pencil along a street one day, probably a 600 pair cooper cable, and said to me " You see this - this line will create 3 days work for 2 lineman..... I was hooked on that premise and still am as of today....
