never heard of this before.  buried plant, where i’m at gets abandoned in place (rip)  there is no cost effective way to remove buried plant.  Too many variables.  You can’t rip out of ground.  Cost would be compatible to placing . as you would have to expose just about every inch and reel up.  However it turns out, good luck!  keep us informed.
