Make sure you don't allow your production crew to work past 40hrs. or you will be required to pay Overtime Pay. A bunch of Lawyers and others ruined production pay.
How to calculate: crewman works 50 hours to complete $1000 of production = $20 per hour average hourly wage. You would owe your man $20 ST x 40hr = $800 plus $30 OT x 10hrs = $300 for total pay of $1100
Don't learn the hard way like a ton of others have.
