I have looked at the Brazilian made lasher on the internet. Didn't like what I saw. The first thing that jumped right out at me was there is no rollers to payout the lashing wire to the strand. Just a pair of hooks. How long can that last, how hard will it to pull, what does it do to the lashing wire? Then there are 2 front gates and 2 back gates. The gate latch locks are manually operated both to lock and unlock (watch the video). It appears to be a time consuming machine that will surely reduce production. The whole thing looks more like a prototype that was made in someones garage rather than a marketable product. Just watch the video link below and form your own opinion:

If you can find a GMP or a CableSpinner (DCD), go for it. Both are much better built, productive and functional in my opinion.
