First thing is to pre ride the run, make sure nothing in your way that you have to go above, unless you want to disconnect/reconnect such things as TV/Tel Drops/OHG/Trees/Traffic Contrl, it's best you don't disconnect others plant-cables, but it has been done. Next is a good TV-40 with all the drive off equipment and a good grunt driver. Be sure truck has good 2-way communication with driver. Pay attention to your cable reel bar and spacers between reels, as with brakes for tension when doing fiber, with strand you can mount reel on truck. There is no easy way....just do it from back of the T-40. You should be using a 600# break a way when pulling out fiber...but most crew skip it and hope they don't over stress and damage the fiber. Drive off strand is a piece of cake, fiber takes a little more care and planning, especially ADSS pulls. Always be aware of what is around you like moving Traffic/parked cars/Intersections/etc/
