I have an E350 with the 6.8L and really like the power of that engine, it will pass everything but the gas station .
It was getting about 10 mpg on hwy, 7-8 around town, probably less letting it run all day to run the pump.
The 6.2 is a good engine too, but as they say, there is no replacement for displacement.
