If you produce an accurate business plan, you will have the numbers you are looking for. There is no other way to get accurate numbers for a particular job. You asked for what subs are making for strand cable & fiber. But you give no details. You need to know is it easement, rural, small towns, metro, what are the working hours, details of the contract, what is the worker’s compensation / general liability rates in the state you will be working, what are the setup costs, what do you have to pay labor, and many more things that will affect your bottom line. FYI if you can find them; bucket trucks, pickups, trailers, tools, lashers, rollers & labor are at an all time high and in short supply. So do YOUR homework. Best advice I can give, get a CPA, attorney, banker, & business insurance agent to help you write your business plan.
