Dycom pretty much into Video-Data-Voice Installation/construction, and yes they bought out own around 30+ smaller mid size companies and put them all under their umbrella increasing their footprint.   MasTec does some of this but they also do Wind-Solar-Power on a larger scale.  Just research them to get the Actual Facts,  Once a Company buys out all their competition in a certain trade, they pretty much control the rates and in some cases found to be illegal.   When you have investors, looking for a profit, one way to move up is to buy out the smaller guys, both of these companies are professional and know what it right-wrong and illegal.
