Im not talking about business deductions (write offs as you put it) I’m using simple math skills that prove even at the high end of the offer, $500 per day, it is below the real cost of doing business. Any CPA will tell you that You must make more money than you write off or you can’t write it off. I don’t believe I said anything about wanting the government to take care of anybody. My point is I want everyone to make a living so the will not be on any type of government assistance. The job I’m referring to offers $500, at the high end, for a days work. My short list of real expenses added up to more than $500. There are more expenses, I just quit adding them up when the expenses were greater than the income. If you think it is possible to make money as a contractor at $500 per day, please help everyone out. Take some business classes before you become a contractor. You can not make money with a negative cash flow. Not even with increased volume as some believe.
