Micro Man I really get a kick out of some of your posts. I would like to have a beer with you sometime and just shoot the shit. I bet it would be a great conversation. Now on to the subject at hand. YES THEY ARE CRAP but I am still turning them in the ground in WI using a post hole digger that I adapted attached to my little Kubota Tractor. If you hit a rock dont force it even with 2 linemen in decent shape turning them in with a frost bar you will twist/bend them. A pilot hole does help if the ground is really that bad Vac a 6'deep hole drop in the anchor and slurry it wait a day for it to set and pull your down guy. There is no need to reinvent the wheel just work with what you have and apply some common sence to get a quality product to your customer.
