In early 90's it was a Composite of $1.00 for aerial strand / coax / splice / balance....that was as a Prime also to include you had to wait 45 days for payments. As a prime...it you end up at years end with 5% profit, most would say you lost, however if your doing multi million in sales....5% might not sound great...but your profits are in the MILLIONS.
Look: If you own a company...you are responsible to grow that company and give gainful employment to your crews and staff. YOU have to decide what kind of profits you want or how much lost you can temporary take before going out of business. It is all up to YOU !
