All of the posts are correct. When I only had 4 in house drafter designers, and a couple field personnel, I took out a policy with Farmers Insurance for the Sate of MO.
About 3 months later I hired a cable related person to join our field crew in Bossier City, LA. On his way to the job, we really don't know why, but he ran into a semi-trailer on his trip and died. Work come covered it and his ex wife got close to $ 90,000 from the accidental death. You just never know what might happen.
