Hummm....logging/milling lumber....You might have some thing there...have you been to lowes/home depot/Etc lately....2x4x8 use to be $3.50..last I looked it was $7.25......damn sheet of plywood when from $21 buck to $56 Supply and Demand...damn shame this industry isn't like that.
