Cable pioneer, Chuck Davis, passed away peacefully at his home in Pottsboro, Texas on Thursday, May 20, with his wife Nelda by his side. Chuck began his career in Cable TV in 1964 and retired in 2016. Starting in 1964 as a cable installer in Austin, Texas, from that beginning he built his own cable install company that had more that 65 trucks operating across the US in the 1960's. In 1970, he built his first cable system. Over the next 46 years, he was the owner/operator of more than 14 cable systems across Texas and Oklahoma. Chuck was inducted into the Cable Pioneer Hall of Fame in 2009. He will be missed by family, friends and colleagues.
