been here for 2 weeks due to the slow season back home in denver, i honestly think is way easier than a comcast system and far less drama, no triple scans at each job with their proprietary junk meter that breaks all the time (huge waste of time), no hostile dispatchers or ridiculous distance between jobs even though phoenix is far larger than denver and surrounding cities. i been doing 100-120 pts per day at 2.80 plus 100 per diem on a glorious warm, dry steady weather, people are nice and its a very clean easy system to work on, the only bummers is we have to bury drops ourselves but aint that bad, all that said:
pros:
easy old school system
linear signal with few parameters to worry about
tight routes
stackable points system (you can add drops, unwired ao's, etc)
90% underground
cons:
equipment availability
no fittings! other essential parts in general
asshole manager at TAK (non existing leadership)
mostly TC's, few internet only installs
