Skidmark: I feel your pain however most of you doing the work could not go 30-45-60 days w/out a check like the companies do. Same with the required insurance....if the shit hit the fan and a major liability claim...most subs don't own enough assets to get sued like the company would have. Why don't you get a group of quality splicers together out there working units for these companies and form your own company....as you grow, pull in more and more splicers. Next thing you know...your have all the quality splicers in the trade..and then the companies will have to come to your group or put up with paying the bad splicers that give pro's like everyone on here...a bad name.
