Most all Primes have a info pack or a checklist of their requirements. Each has their own little tweak to basically the same info, what is your legal name, what limits of insurance are required and everything else they need. The insurance is usually 1M - 2M GL, 1M Auto, 1M Workman's Comp and a 2M-5M Umbrella policy and anything that is specific to the line of business like a designer or something specific. Past that you need the equipment to complete the work, your work will do the rest for you! Do you get the job done with good Quality, was it on time, did you pull off of it in the middle to go help a buddy and not arrange it the list goes on. Basically have the insurance, equipment and do good work and you can sub from about anyone you want to!
