First of all if you want to know how to do it...don't ask anyone in here. It's like The Shawshank Redemption.. "don't you know everyone in here has been screwed over by every company in the US"!! $100K to start, 2-3 yrs of work 'lined up'. I don't know how you start your own gig by reading any of these posts. I started my own company with the local cable company in my area. I knew the right ppl and asked. The management helped me out and now I'm set up and making money. If you're honest and actually work instead of crying and bitching about rates you'll do fine. There's enough work where you'll find it.
