I've seen folks teach their relative to splice fiber, only to have that person leaved him for a more long term job. Splicing is not like working on a crew catching pole after pole doing the same things over and over. splicing you have to learn to read a print, learn how to assemble the equipment, to splice, to test and to activate and proof your work. Keep looking you might find a sucker to use you working on the ground picking up his scrap cable clippings, cleaning out his truck, placing the safety cones and such shit work. Really dude, it's that bad...Good luck, if that is your desire...go for it, don't look back, do the best you can do, always provide quality over quantity. MicroMan
