So this is why I do not bury drops. This has been an issues since drops started being buried you know back in the day when chickens had lips. You will never get 811 to hold up liability for anything that is outside of the ROW anything after that is considered private (Home/Property owners) resonsibility. However they will also never take responsbility because whos gonna pass up a free repair, its the prevebaly rock and hard place. You can either locate it yourself or do what I do when I have to work on private property I have a local locating company come out after it scheduled with the property owner and locate everything on thier property and invoice the bill as part of the project cost with the approprite documentation/explanation. Or just accept the fact that you are going damage some stuff and be prepaired to fix it at your expense. It suck gents it truly does but this is the age we live and work in all you can do is shake your head in disgust and go to work.
