Re:Pro & Conns About PTO's

My mules pto pump(on tranny)I do however disengage to move vehicle.My opinion;pto.....if your truck starts,you are working....I also have ac at the end of my boom as well as having an aux. electic pump that can operate the boom w/o the motor running.Maintence has been minumun for the past dedade.I regularly change oil and filter(hyd also)and my boom is quite as a church mouse.My compatriot has a electic.and I was impressed...until he had to start purchasing those big batteries.Also,he uses alot more energy (to wit.....fuel and batteries) in the colder months...Good luck!
