The VA makes me get a flu & pneumonia shot every winter because of my medical history,
so I have been more careful the last 4 years, than I was the 40 before that.
I was a stubborn fool, and never used my benefits, and never saw a doctor.
As my health deteriorated my friends started getting pissed off I didn't use the benefits.
So finally I went to the local VA and man did I feel much much better.
They took great care of me and actually found lymphoma on accident when checking something else.
Not sure what would have happened, but they did the surgery, all turned out great.
So everyone be safe, don't be a stubborn dummy like I was, and go see a damn doctor more often then every 35+ years!!!
