The company I work for got bought out by dycom and its been hell since. im killing it in production and they cant afford to pay me more than $23/hr. all the other companies in oregon are getting bought out by them aswell. im seeking info on going 1099 but it seems like as people have stated that the big corps are getting all the work. my boss and a few coworkers left to go work for HnM because they are trying slowly phasing out giving work to contractors. Comcast is also stripping work from guys who cant build the whole project start to finish, and that was my only other in for 1099 work.
