Stihls are the best but we're osha banned a long time ago. They will hurt you if the motor is strong and you get lazy or careless. I still have 2 of them. One the motor is tired and I think the other had a chipped tooth in the gear box. They are still worth fixing. Alot of shops will not sell parts if they know that is what the parts are going to fix. . I have seen 3 or 4 shops that told me that.
Those Earthquakes are alright I guess if it's a 2 man. Better than putting anchors in by hand for sure. They're cheap enough you get several for what aworeout stihls would probably cost. And 2 people can stall one of those as They aren't as strong as a stihl theyy are heavier and bulkier. They need to be kept stored relatively flat or the gas will end up in your oil. Doesn't matter how you store the stihls so much because the fuel and lubricant are the same on a 2 stroke.
