Hummm 15 years in the trade, I'm guessing you have vehicle-home-life insurance, so why wouldn't think you also are required to have insurance for a business. In some state you will also be required to have a state contractor license, better check it out. Any time your working in and around "Electrical lines", either Aerial or UG, your be paying top dollar for General Liability. This is no time to try to go cheap, having the right insurance coverage has saved many companies (large & small) from going broke. Be sure to know your dedutable, the larger your deductable, the lower your cost. Now if your financial secure..you could go Self Insurance like most "Large Corporations". Shop around..don't just take the first quote. Good Luck..Keep Safe:MicroMan
