Exactly my 1st thought.
There is work every where, and like I said, I'm making more than that part time as a coax guy.
You either live next door to their shop, and can't leave for personal reasons, 
or you can't hold a job.
How can a guy fully equiped and insured be in that situation??
I hope if they are, they use this as a temp step to getting a situation earning what they are worth, not what a slave is worth.
That schedule is worse than being a prisoner.
Good luck to anyone forced to take this, hoping for the best.
