Team Evironmental LLC of Millwood WVa...a Natural Gas pipeline management company was ordered by Federal Court to pay 300 field inspectors $1,850.000 in back pay and $1,850,000 in liquidaded damages for violating the Federal "Fair Labor Standards Act" Team Evironmental paid the day rate for all hours worked however failed to pay worker the overtime for hours worked in excess of 40hr/work week. Federal Laws states"employees are entitled to their fair wages for all hours they work to include overtime hours....It's a Federal Law. Federal minimum hourly wage is $7.25, any hours worked in excess of 40 per week is $10.88. All you employee crews working on units, this also applies, I'm pretty sure your all getting screwed as unit pay must match these minimum hourly rates.
